Statement: Documenting the Upper Ninth Ward and Jazz Fest, April 2010. Through an exploration of the Musician’s House, the street culture of the French Quarter and Warehouse Districts, and the festivities of the Jazz Festival, these images examine the city for the multi-faceted lady that she is, full of both the decrepit and the sublime.
